How Many Assignments Do I Need to Complete to Get My License?
There are eight required assignments (four technique samples and four projects) for you to make and submit photos of through the site. Once you receive your license after course completion, you will actually co-own the copyright to the written instructions/patterns in The Joy of Sewing licensing. This means you can copy the materials for your sewing classrooms, if you choose to teach. Or, if you just want to make the projects to sell, you can do that too!
Who Can Take This Course?
Everyone! You can take this course if you have been sewing for a long time, a short time, or any time in between. You do not have to be a sewing teacher to take this course. In fact, many who take our licensing programs do not teach or plan to teach. They just love to sew and want to add to their sewing knowledge. We invite you to join the fun!
