Would you ever think that you can create the lace body of this beautiful Christmas stocking using your serger? You can, and Alicia Welcher will show you how to do it in this intermediate heirloom sewing by serger class.

In this class, you will learn how to create the beautiful lace panel that comprises the front of this stocking using nothing more than a flatlock stitch and a rolled hem. You will also learn how to create the fabulous smocked and ruffled cuff using a smocking-in-the-hoop technique on your embroidery machine. If you do not have an embroidery machine, do not worry. We have provided alternate cuff options in your written instructions. No matter how you choose to do your cuff, it will be beautiful! In constructing this stocking, you will also learn how to serge both inside and outside curves.
