Alicia has been serging for 20+ years, and the tips and techniques she has gathered to share with you in this course will take your serger skills to the next level.
You’ll learn how to achieve all kinds of techniques using popular feet for your overlock serger, such as the piping foot, gathering foot and many more. “In this class, we’re going to learn all about those feet and accessories, and their many, many uses,” Alicia says. “You will learn that all of our feet are not just used for what they were originally purposed for. Over time, we’ve found all sorts of uses for them. And so I’m going to hopefully teach you some of the things that you’ve never thought about using them for.”
In addition to the step-by-step video instruction, you'll receive PDF files for creating your notebook. The files include a cover and spines for your notebook (you can customize the cover with your name!) as well as written technique instruction pages. These pages feature blank spaces for including your actual samples that you create during the course. At the end of the course, you'll have a technique book filled with samples of all the different things that you’ve learned that you can refer to – and continue to add to – for years to come.
