Throughout the course you’ll be privy to Katie’s tried-and-true techniques, and benefit from her design genius and construction experience. But most of all, you’ll love her teaching style! This online course demonstrates, quite clearly, the difference between a class and a kit or pattern. And with Katie, you’re getting every last tip as you become more and more confident in your own sewing skills.

You hear it all the time … “I know how to make bags.” But, do you know how to easily execute those unique design elements in a bag that take it from ordinary to extraordinary? To a high-end, “boutique level” project? To make a project that everyone else wants?

With so many bag patterns available, you want yours to stand out … in a good way! Katie’s trio of bags offers us a window into the secret tips and techniques which lead to guaranteed success. Step by step, you’ll gain the confidence to apply them to all of your sewing, starting the moment you see them demonstrated. These “aha” moments are especially valuable, because Katie not only shows how, but also explains the “why,” so you’ll understand completely and can adapt the details to other projects with easy confidence. With Katie’s help, you will begin taking all of your projects from home-made … to pro-made. When you sign up for this online course, you will get the PDF bag pattern and the embroidery design files, so you can make it as many times, in as many ways as you like.

To create the bag front and back in-the-hoop, note the following sizes of the embroidery designs. Your hoop must accommodate the sizes given to use the embroidery files. The bag patterns are also given as a PDF. If your hoop size is not large enough to create in-the-hoop, you can create manually.

Design Sizes:
Large bag—7-3/4” x 14-1/8”
Medium bag— 7-3/4” x 10-1/16”
Small bag—5-1/16” x 6-15/16”
All Start Anytime courses, are self-paced, and you can begin the moment you register, viewing the course anytime that is convenient for you. Many students watch it through one time first, and then go back to work alongside the instructor with their own project activities.
