Thank you to Connie for creating this class in her home's sewing room! During this start-anytime class, you will create an exquisite quilt that showcases many beautiful heirloom techniques, including pintucks, lace shaping, puffing, madeira applique and more. Connie originally designed this quilt for her granddaughter, Michelle. The quilt was featured on the TV show, Quilting with Shar, hosted by Sharlene Jorgenson, and featured in Sharlene's book: America's Best, a compilation of 13 quilt projects. This easy-to-make quilt was designed with both beginner and advanced heirloom sewists and quilters in mind.

What began as a simple interest in sewing 30 years ago has blossomed into an exciting adventure that Connie loves to share with her students. Her gift for elegant design and exquisite craftsmanship has made her a highly sought-after teacher in the US, Puerto Rico, Canada and Mexico.
She travels and teaches for the Martha Pullen travel events and returns year after year as one of the favorite teachers at the Original Sewing & Quilt Expo. Her showcase of skills can often be seen on PBS television in "Martha’s Sewing Room," "America Sews with Sue Hausmann" and "Quilting with Shar." She is a regular contributor to Classic Sewing magazine and contributed to Sew Beautiful magazine for many years. She has the privilege of having garment designs on the covers of five Martha Pullen books: Lovely Lingerie; Elegant Sewing for Baby; Contemporary Heirlooms for the Older Girl; Six Easy Patterns and Fabulous Fashions.
