Starting with zipper pockets (and dividing zipper pockets, yay!), Pam walks through all the steps, tips and insider information about stabilizing and assembly for pockets and the bags themselves, including how to bag corners several ways and incorporate a variety of corner shapes. The goal: you become the designer, making wallets and bags YOUR way. Then she takes it up a notch, as she starts adding professional hardware, from bag feet to clasp frames and chain straps. Talk about professional finishes!
A great course for those of us who want to improve upon bag and wallet designs we already have, or simply design our own.
All Start Anytime courses, are self-paced, and you can begin the moment you register, viewing the course anytime that is convenient for you. Many students watch it through one time first, and then go back to work alongside the instructor with their own project activities.
Known as the "Decorating Diva," Pam learned early in life, while spending time on her grandparents' farm, that making something from "scratch" was not only a way of life, but it was the better way of doing things. Holding on to those values, she went from farm to fabric and has had a very successful 30+ year career as an interior designer and sewing professional. Pam offers professional drapery workroom training to the trade and consumers. As a seasoned career speaker, she travels internationally teaching the specialty techniques that have brought her years of continued business as the "Couture of Home Dec Sewing."
