Changing your purse becomes obsolete when you can leave the contents in place and change the cover – the Wrap. Follow Pam as she constructs the basic bag – designed with all the practical essentials inside to keep things organized – and then creates seasonal Wrap options.
She’ll work with cork fabric for autumn, add piping to the summer wrap, show off a snowflake embroidery and holiday fabric, and for spring she’ll showcase a mock cathedral window, flat piping trim and box pleats. And that’s just the beginning …..
Pam shares her tried and true purse and bag making techniques, all the tips for guaranteed success and how to get the most from your machine, accessory feet and notions collection along the way. You’ll learn a lot, and find inspiration galore.
All Start Anytime courses, are self-paced, and you can begin the moment you register, viewing the course anytime that is convenient for you. Many students watch it through one time first, and then go back to work alongside the instructor with their own project activities.
Known as the "Decorating Diva," Pam learned early in life, while spending time on her grandparents' farm, that making something from "scratch" was not only a way of life, but it was the better way of doing things. Holding on to those values, she went from farm to fabric and has had a very successful 30+ year career as an interior designer and sewing professional. Pam offers professional drapery workroom training to the trade and consumers. As a seasoned career speaker, she travels internationally teaching the specialty techniques that have brought her years of continued business as the "Couture of Home Dec Sewing."
