The Martha Pullen faculty has designed and stitched more gorgeous heirloom projects over the years than we can count, and this heirloom licensing curriculum is the best yet! Originally offered face-to-face as Heirloom II, it has been re-titled to better represent the caliber of the collection – an outstanding group of 30 particularly beautiful heirloom projects, encompassing everything from christening gowns (yes, plural!) to eight "quick" projects. There is something for every need and desire.

All the classic and current techniques have been considered, every design detail has been refined, and each project has been edited to provide the same high-quality experience you’ve come to expect from a Martha Pullen curriculum. Whether you plan to teach, make items to sell or simply advance your own sewing skills and pleasure, this outstanding collection of memorable projects and techniques provides everything you’re looking for.

Included are all the heirloom categories you love – in addition to the christening gowns, there are baby items, fashion accessories, home décor items, garments for babies, children and adults and a brand new heirloom quilt. Created by some of Martha Pullen’s top-tier designers, each project teaches, each technique thrills, and each finished item is a memory waiting to be made.

As a Martha Pullen licensed teacher, you share the project copyrights with the Martha Pullen Co. That means you may reproduce them to use in your classroom or make them to sell without limit. Of course, many licensed teachers simply like to sew – and create these wonderful projects as gifts and family heirlooms.

Projects in every licensing collection are unique to that particular licensing, so no one else will have your projects other than the students who are licensed in the same curriculum. If you choose to teach, holding a Martha Pullen License will open teaching doors that might not otherwise be available to you.

During this six-month course you will be in touch with the Martha Pullen Licensing faculty, who will be available to answer any questions you might have about projects, patterns, techniques and teaching methods. Even though you will receive more than 30 projects, you will need to complete a total of 10 assignments (five technique samples and five projects) to receive your certificate. Once the course opens, a supply list will be available for the required projects.

These classes are so wonderful! I feel like I'm visiting with friends throughout each course. The instructors are each so personable and warm, and they go out of their way to explain each step in easily understandable terms. And, if I've had questions, they are quick to respond. I've been sewing for a very long time, and I've still learned so many new things in these lessons. And the fact that these courses are offered online is a major blessing for me as I would not be able to do these classes otherwise. This has been great fun!!

Wonderful class. Super instructors who were kind, knowledgeable and helpful. If I should decide to teach, I will strive to always keep those same attitudes and qualities in my teaching. It is always a joy to help someone learn something new and impart knowledge.
