Loni’s Shadow Work Madeira Pillow is a wonderful new project designed by Connie Palmer! This sweet pillow is packed with many techniques for you to learn: Madeira appliqué by machine, shadow embroidery by machine, sewing a pinstitch, buttonhole embroidery, and more. The center Madeira window features a beautiful floral shadow embroidery motif that includes an open needlework design achieved by using a larger topstitch needle. The pillow cover closes on the sides with gorgeous pearl buttons accented with buttonhole embroidery. Inside the pillow cover is a basic pillow form, and Connie will show you how to create that, too.
