With over 20 projects to download and videos to support the project instructions, you can hone your serger talents and teaching skills – in the comfort of your own home. The projects range from quilting and home decorating to totes and garment construction – for baby, children and ladies. A cover stitch serger is not required to complete the required projects and techniques for Serger I. This course will prepare you to give instruction on how to thread, identify parts and settings used for general serging methods, master tips and tricks for specialty serging techniques and use additional feet. In addition, this serger licensing will include a tried-and-true curriculum of over 20 fabulous serger projects.
You will have licensing privileges from the day you submit and pass all required projects. This means that you can either make the projects for sale without limit or, if you are teaching, you can make as many copies of the project instructions as you need for your students. Projects in each licensing collection are unique to that particular licensing, so no one else will have your projects other than the students who are licensed in the same curriculum. If you choose to teach serger classes, holding a Martha Pullen Serger License just might open teaching doors that possibly would not be available to you.
Do you have to teach if you become a Martha Pullen Licensed Teacher? No! We have many licensed teachers who never plan to teach. Some of our Martha Pullen Licensed teachers plan to teach at a later date. Of course some already have teaching jobs lined up since sewing machine dealerships are looking for serger teachers! Everyone is welcome to join our serger licensed teacher program!
